Get ready for the New Elite Raids on Pokémon go!

For the first time since Community Day tier 4 raids, we have a brand-new feature that will significantly alter Pokémon GO. Prepare yourself for elite raids, a new class of raid combat with a special twist that will also bring back an extremely valuable and rare Pokemon.
They will operate in this way. Only a few former gyms will host these new raids. Not every gym has the ability to host an elite raid like they used to. Not every gym could have something akin to an ex-raid.

As a result, they will be a little challenging to locate, but don't panic; they will make their debut this Saturday and take 24 hours to hatch. This will make it much simpler to locate them and to plan the raid with your friends and the local community, which is great.
By the way, because you cannot use remote raids for these Elite raids, you will need your local community and your friends. They are only in-person.
Now, before anyone complains, allow me to provide context. We all enjoy remote raiding, so it would be horrible if it were ever removed from the game. Therefore, Pokémon Go is introducing new elements that encourage going outside and avoiding using remote rates, as opposed to completely deleting remote raids. That is far superior to the other option, which would be to completely eliminate remote raids.
Therefore, even though you can't remote them, these will be far more difficult to complete. Set timers and coordinate with your neighborhood homies because you'll need them because these raids are said to be difficult for the first 30 minutes after the egg hatches.
