It appears from the interviews that Blizzard is already at work on the follow-up expansion to Dragonflight.

Additionally, although this is more of a rumor than a fact, Blizzard allegedly held a meeting where they discussed the next ten years of World of Warcraft. which implies that numerous expansions are likely in the works right now.
Contrary to popular belief, Dragonflight was not intended to be the definitive end of the Warcraft series. It appears that World of Warcraft is entering a new age with Dragonflight, and it is great to hear that they have no immediate plans to stop the game's growth.
This indicates, in my opinion, that the entire cosmology concept and the new narrative that was established with the brokers in Shadowlands will be strongly included into this new storyline and the storyline itself.

I'm expecting we are going to get big reveals of the first ones and that is going to be the main focus point of going forward.
I'll be honest, I'm on the fence about this one. On the one hand, I'm happy that a substantial overarching story will be told, but I really hope that Dragonflight doesn't end on yet another cliffhanger.
The bright side of the whole situation is that Blizzard might truly be sincere and these are not empty promises because, let's face it, this is real life. They put this expansion together quickly,
They announced it in April, and it will be released in a few weeks. The beta period also moved along quickly.
The future of World of Warcraft may be interesting if we can genuinely receive quick expansions like these and a lot of patches in between without content droughts like in the Shadowlands.
