Also, there is a normal bacteria that lives in the vagina called lactobacilli. This bacteria prevents the growth of bad bacteria in the vagina and it does not cause any harm.

Considering the fact that the vagina is acidic, having a small smell in it is normal, as long as it is not accompanied by other symptoms such as itching and abnormal discharge.

Another infection that can make your vagina smell is TRICHOMONAS VAGINALIS This is a sexually transmitted infection. Its symptoms include an itchy vagina and a discharge. It is the most common curable sexually transmitted disease. The worst thing about this disease is it increases the chances of contracting other dangerous sexually transmitted diseases. And you should also know that it also affects men.
